This was a different take for this genre. This time it was a lady who needed to be married. The plot was good, but there were some questions left like why she never questioned the man's motive for agreeing to her deal. She never offered him any money or incentive to pretend to be married to her. I found it strange that it took a smart lady like her to figure out that he was into her.Product details

Marriage Of Convenience BWWM Romance Book 1 edition by Sophie Brown BWWM Club Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This book was a different take on your typical BWWM billionaire romance novel. Lucy was the billionaire with a dilemma. I must say that she was a bit annoying and wishy washy. Josh was nice but a little weak in my opinion.
I really love this story I like the fact that Lucy was a self made millionaire but she was afraid to open herself up to Josh but my favorite part was when she took him home for dinner with her folks hilarious and I also like how she help her family.
I enjoyed reading Lucy and Josh's story. Lucy wasn't looking for love and only wanted to start a dating service. Her assistance tells her she will need a man if her business is to be a success. Friends of Lucy help her find the perfect match Josh. He becomes her pretend fiance.
Although this was a billionaire romance it was a nice change for it to be an African American woman. Lucy (Heroine) has decided to start a dating site because she has matched several friends with their significant others. However, there is a slight problem; she is currently not dating anyone. So she decides to hire a pretend fiancé to make this business venture more believable.
Josh (Hero) is a London lawyer; currently working in the States, and is Lucy’s pick for her pretend fiancé. From the beginning Josh plays the fiancé roll well; sending Lucy good morning messages and random text messages throughout the day. At first Lucy is not sure how to respond to these messages as she has been out of the dating game. Both Josh and Lucy start to feel something for one another, but they both are unsure whether the other is just playing a role or displaying true feelings.
As I indicated at the beginning it was a nice change to see a woman billionaire romance. I do however feel that once they changed the status from fake fiancé to fake marriage that the story became a little rushed. I would have liked to see a little story development in this area. Overall it was a good read.

Great read!! Very believable and hard to put down story.

I liked it but I wish there was more to it. It was a great love story but I wanted more of there story.
The description was nice enough. I don't usually see a lot of role reversals in terms of convenient marriages. Unfortunately it lacked dialogue between the main characters and the man just was not aggressive enough. The author should have given more context to the male lead in this book. Overall this story lacked...and left a lot of room to be desired.
